Mindy writes, "Certifications can sometimes be a drag up at camp, so we decided to do a Camp Certification day before camp, at our Stake Center. We are going to have fun teachers come and “help” the YCL’s to teach. We are splitting the girls into years, and assigning YCL’s to a year. They will follow their girls from class to class. We are also going to use the cute Certification Punch cards on SugarDoodle [option 1] [option 2] so the girls can see their progress as they go along. Each class will be 30 minutes long, and we split them up so all of the really difficult-to-teach things are done before camp. Since 4th years have less to pass off, we are going to arrange for them to do a service project for 2 of the hours (probably tie some quilts.) We are going to finish the day with a few 6 foot subs and popsicles. It should be a lot of fun. And it will for-sure free up some time at camp for more fun things, including a Certification Relay, where they will get to practice all that they learn at Certification day."
