Krista writes, "We tried to mirror the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" television show--complete with a "demolition", bus, and spiritual makeover.  Our scripture was Helaman 5:12, our hymn was "How Firm a Foundation" and we used the song "I Will" by Hilary Weeks as our camp song.  We focused on the construction of testimonies with a firm foundation in Jesus Christ and on having a relationship with Him.  We made the girls work hard and on the hike they paved a path with heavy pavers that they carried the entire hike--it was to symbolize a burden or sin that they would then "give" to Jesus Christ--at the end of the hike.   All week long we had each ward create a poster with their assigned value on it and then for our last night we used these posters as well as posters of Christ made by our YCL's, as a foundation of a temple that we had drawn on some huge canvas--they chanted "move that bus"--we had a wooden bus cut out-- to see "the makeover" and we had kept it a secret all week long.  It was unforgettable!"
